Now that’s it’s coming up to Valentine’s day, it’s time to start thinking about how to tell your partner that you love him. This year, however, forget socks or chocolates, and pick one of our truly romantic ways to express your love!
1. Season tickets. While these may not sound exciting, what could be more exciting than a year of your favourite sport? Whether it’s ballet or football, your Valentine is sure to love it. 2. Romantic getaways. Book a secret weekend away. Whether it’s Devon or Paris, your other half is sure to love the surprise, and you’re sure to get a Valentine’s day you won’t forget in a hurry!
3. Romantic dinners. Whether you dress up and hit a classy restaurant, or set the scene with candles at home, cook up his favourite food and make him smile.
4. Jewelry. A gorgeous necklace or watch will make their day, and remind them of you every time they see it.
5. Bathtime. Run a bath with soapy bubbles, candles and rose petals, and prepare for a steamy night in.
6. Breakfast. Prepare breakfast in bed with some romantic props, such as toast coverings that print ‘I love you’ on your toast. Serve with champagne and set the scene for a super romantic day.
